Nearly every Brony has wondered what they would be like if they were a pony. Well, this is my answer!

Over this past summer I discovered I have a fondness for baking and cooking -- especially ethnic foods. The most popular of my dishes are Jewish: unleavened cakes and breads. Hence the chef's hat and Star of David cutie mark.

"Kugel" is a type of Jewish casserole; usually made from grated potatoes (which is what's being done in the picture). The recipe I have results in miniature cakes rather than your traditional flat sheet, but they are addictive anyway. The only hard part is grating the potatoes -- unicorn magic would certainly make that easier!

By the by, I've decided to call this pony Kosh R. Baker. Horrid pun, but that's not unlike many pony names out there.

You might try a salad shredder. You can get a cheap one like mine for about $25. Mine shreds carrots just fine, so I imagine they would do potatoes, too.

Hmm; another gadget for the kitchen. Looks like an interesting one; while we have a food processor, it's gigantic, noisy and a lot more like Prince Blueblood* than it's generally worth it. Those look simple enough to deal with though; I'll have to look into one. Thanks!
